To MiJoy Shelties, owned by Mike and Joyce Van Kirk

We are a small hobby kennel located in Glendale, Arizona.  Mike and I have been married 42 years and have been owned by our beloved Shelties 26 of those.  We have raised 3 children and currently have six wonderful grandchildren.  We are retired and spend most of our time with our dogs and each other.

 We believe in Quality over Quantity and therefore have only limited litters. We breed for the show ring and those retained also become our family pets. We sell all our pet puppies on spay and neutering contracts. Our dogs live in the house and most are ball players and great kissers.

 In addition to my Champion and pointed Shelties, I have dabbled in other breeds along the way and have also owned or bred two Champion Polish Lowland Sheepdogs and a couple of pointed Shiba Inus.

 I am licensed by AKC to Judge Shetland Sheepdogs, Collies and all breed Juniors.
